In this chapter, the young master of the music studio tries to convince Xiao-Li that he is not crazy. He tells him that his family is powerful, but that he cannot cover the sky by one hand. He says that when he is almost dead, he will find a doctor who will take care of his body and wait for him to heal and then continue playing with him. The young master says that the whole family is crazy, and that he will slap this as retribution for betraying his brother and letting him be kidnapped. He also says that he wants to play the music for him. He asks if he needs him to play for him, and he says he does not need him to do so. He is afraid that if he breaks his leg, it will affect the whole of the people in the room. He wants to close the door when he goes out, but he cant because he has no business there. When he goes in, he finds little nian there. He tries to find out what has happened to his brother, but no one has come to find him. His father has gone to the country, and no news has come from the police or other searchers. He blames himself for killing his brother. He thinks that it was the group that sent his brother to go on business trip, but it is not true.
