About This Chapter
"No, not true" , the narrator tells us. He says that he's the one who "saved" her from the divorce. He promises to do everything he can to make sure that the divorce is "painful" . He's also going to give her more time to "resolve all financial issues." He tells her that he still has some shares in the company, so he'll let her stay and see him upstairs. She tells him that she still cares about him, and that she'll talk to him when they get back to her room. She says that she doesn't know how to take her brother's side, since he lied to her and everyone else. She calls him a liar, and tells him to "stop using his head." She also says that if he keeps taking care of her, her relationship with him "will definitely be affected." She asks her mom if she really thinks that there will be a future for her and her brother. She asks if she could take her father's job into consideration, too, and if she should think about giving her brother another chance. The narrator says that the company has finally "survived the crisis," thanks to the "help from Gu's family."
