The scene opens on the front door of the house where Yu and Luoan have been living together for the past three years. Yu is very happy to see him, and he is very angry that he has not been able to get him back. He tells Yu that he is the one who has broken his piano, who has caused the rift between them, and who has now to pay for his mistakes. He asks Yu to sign a divorce agreement, but Yu refuses, saying that he still has a way to convince him to do so.
