The next morning, the three young men discuss the events of the previous evening. They all agree that it was a mistake on the part of Mr. Wen to leave the apartment where they were staying. They also agree that if they hadn't left, they wouldn't have been awkward with each other. The young men wonder why they haven't spoken to each other since they left. They wonder why Mr. Wen is still defending Mr. Lin, and they wonder why he's still defending Lin after all. They both wonder why the young women are still hanging out with their mother, and the young men decide that they can't stand it any longer. They decide to take a walk before they go back to the apartment.
