In this chapter, the monster explains how he came to dominate the sea. He explains that he was tricked into believing that the sea was a natural resource and that he could use it to develop his own country. However, when he was born, the people called him the god of war, and he was locked up in the sea as a result. When the time came for him to use the sea to gain control over the land, he agreed to help the monster hunt down the people and sell them to neighboring countries as slaves.
