The priest and the monster flee to the village chief's palace, where the priest curses his partner, the wizard, for turning the monster into a "prey" . The shadow that the priest sees is not a shadow at all, but rather a "shadow" that is "using the witchcraft" , the priest says, and that is why the priest has his body in the palace. The young master runs away, but the shadow is still his partner.
