In this chapter, the students discuss the future of electricity. They discuss how electricity will be replaced by more efficient, more reliable, and less expensive electric power plants. They also discuss how, in the future, governments will be able to regulate the price of real estate, thus loosening the restrictions on the real estate market. The students also discuss the fact that their teacher has been looking for them, and that they are the only two who have not been left behind. They wonder if one of the girls has been bitten by a mosquito, and they wonder if the other girl has been upstaged by a male classmate.
