The Governess tells the Governess that her son's father came to her the day before asking for her help. He wanted her to help him get a better job, but she doesn't think they need money for that. She tells him that she's glad that he got another part-time job so that he'd have more money to spend with his son. He tells her that the next day, he still hasn't come home. She suggests that they go find him, but he won't be home for a day or two. She says that parents always want their kids to do what's best for them, and that's why he's working so hard for them.
