This chapter opens in a small apartment in the middle of nowhere. It's quiet and low key, but it's not lacking in culture. The narrator tells us that he's lived in this apartment since he was a kid. He's been educated by the elite, and he still has a knock-knock habit. He tells his uncle, Larry, that he heard a new play coming up. He wants to borrow some things from him, but he can't seem to find the time to do so. Larry asks him if he has pictures of hot women, and the narrator says he doesn't have any. He also tells Larry to get out of his room, because he has a lot of important documents in his room. He asks Larry if he can borrow some of the things he needs, but Larry is too busy to answer his questions. He tries to get away from the room, but the narrator won't let him. He says he'll move out of the apartment.
