In this chapter, we learn that claire's father is an undercover cop. He's wearing a cop's uniform, and the kids think he's a cop. Ooh, that's just a little weird, right? Well, it's not weird at all. The kids are confused, and they think that their dad is some kind of cop. But nope, he isn't a cop, and he doesn't act like one. He acts like a normal dad. He tells the kids that mistakes are normal, and that he'll always do his best to make sure that his daughter is happy. He says that he loves his daughter more than anyone else in the world. He also says that his son loves her too, but that he can't give her a push because she's too young to know who she likes or who she dislikes. He wants to marry her, and wants to be with her forever.
