The scene opens in the boys' room, where the girls are hiding out. He is still wearing his new hair style, which is very important to him. He asks the girls to stop looking at him in the mirror, because he is so handsome that he cannot even recognize himself. He begs them not to touch him so cool, and he tells them that he is going to beat them all out of their confidence. He tells them to take Paul to the doctor first, because there is something wrong with him. They all stand around, waiting for the doctor to arrive. He does not arrive, and the girls do not see him.
