The next morning, Shu Xing tells the others that he has found out who pushed Cai Ling into the fireworks. He tells them that he is the one who ordered Cai Ling to push Cai Ling in the first place. He says that he had been worried that Cai Ling would hurt Cai Ling, so he has secretly recorded several meetings between the two of them. He adds that he now has burns on his back because of his role in Cai Ling's suicide.
