In this chapter, we find out that Cai Ming-ling is still alive, and that he has come to visit his son. He is now a rich and famous man, and he has been living happily for sixty years. He asks Cai Ming to take him down with him, and Cai Ming replies that he is not qualified enough to do so. He says that he was worried about Cai Ming's coming alone, so he followed him. He tells Cai Ming that he saw Cai Ming going out in a bad mood, and so Cai Ming followed him to keep him company. Cai Ming says that if he had known Cai Ming was there, he would have punched Cai Ming in the face, but Cai Ming is not so sure.
