We also learn that the man she's been seeing is her father, who she killed to protect her mom. The young woman, however, doesn't want to wait for her father's death to be over, and she wants a stable life. She wants to be able to go out and have fun without worrying about losing her job, her family, or her friends. She also wants to feel like she is making a difference in the world.
