About This Chapter
"Please try again later" , the narrator says. He realizes that he can't convince anyone to stay. He's afraid of losing someone he loves. He tells the narrator to stop trying to force him to stay and to give him back what he wants. The narrator apologizes and says they can work things out together. He says he's sorry that he pushed him and apologizes that he got ahead of himself. He doesn't want anyone to think that he is intimidating him. He warns the narrator not to take another step, especially when the man is trying to threaten him. If he does, he'll run away with the narrator. "What ? Leave your shop behind?" the narrator asks. "Take my hand" . He gives the narrator the name of the man who murdered the victim. The man is the son of the victim and the narrator tells the reader that the son is on the run. He promises that he will love the man forever.
