Mr. .wang asks why he is not playing cards with his family. He tells him that his family is staying in his hometown and that they asked him when he would go back. He asks if he is homesick, and he tells him to take a smoke. He says that it is not good for his health to smoke, and that he will take a shower. He invites Fang to come and join them. Fang says that he has been aching his back and that his friend recommended that Mr. Wen should come and see him. He is excited that the next customer will be waiting for him. Fang asks why the attendant hasn't brought more tea, and . he says that the attendant is from the province where Fang is from. He also says that Fang's son is from there, too, but the attendant doesn't speak the same dialect as Fang. Fang is confused, because the attendant sounds more like his son, but he says it is true. He has been in the shop for two months.
