In this chapter, we learn that the young woman, who we first met in the beginning of the novel, is now the representative of the senior class in the school's fashion club. The young woman explains that she is not participating in this year's school festival because she has been working part time, but she will be able to participate in the festival this year because she heard that she was going to be a queen. She tells us that she has not yet told her father how she feels about him, and that this is a sign of her apologies.
