It's the middle of the day, and the narrator is getting ready to go to an antique store with his heroine. He's embarrassed to see that the woman he's about to go out with is so excited to see him. The narrator asks the princess to go with him, but the princess doesn't want to go, because she's nervous about what the woman is going to say when she sees the narrator. She tells the narrator to hurry up and run, because the woman she just saw is acting like a "new bride" . She's talking nonstop, and she seems to be trying to convince the narrator that she has something important to tell him. When the narrator realizes that this is all a big deal, he realizes that he should be angry with the woman. He tells the princess that all the guys in the store are nice and neat, except for the dude who's rude. He says that the dude is the best of all of them, and that he'd be nicer if he wasn't there. He thinks that the car is even nicer than the one the narrator's heroine is riding. He goes to the antique store and waits for the woman to come inside. He wants to go inside with the man, but he can't stand the guy who keeps butting in the door. He decides to wait outside the store. He notices that the store isn't closing yet, so he goes inside to wait. He finds the door open, but no one is inside, and he asks why they didn't call the dude before they came in. He realizes that they should have called the dude first. He asks what the dude's doing, and then he realizes what's going on.
