The young woman tells the officer that she is not giving up her store. The officer tells her that the loan shark is demanding that she pay him back. She tells him not to waste his time with these "poor bastards" and tells him to "just give up!" The officer says that he is just doing his job and that she needs to pay back the loan. She thanks the officer and says that the handwriting is not even the same as it was two months ago. She is sorry that the store is going to be taken over by the "bastard" .
