The next morning, Missan is worried. She wonders if there is anything she can do for Miss Quin, and wonders if she can pray for her. She also wonders if Zhuge is there. He is, she says, the one who decides the fate of her family with a "flick of his finger" . Missan apologizes for her brashness, and says that he did not expect his visit, but that he is not Miss Quin. He tells her that she took on his identity to get to the headquarters of the human trafficking industry, and that he would have protected her at any cost, regardless of what Miss Quin said. She tells him to hurry up and do his deed.
