She asks the men to guard the carriage, but they refuse to do so, saying that it is their first mission as escorts. She demands justice for herself, and she accuses the men of abandoning her when she had the chance to run away. She also accuses them of asking their men to torture her. She wonders where their conscience is in working for the "obnoxious woman" who sent them to deal with her.
