About This Chapter
The Governess is in the middle of making dinner for her family when she is interrupted by the arrival of the Governess's servant, paljecn. The servant tells her that she is hungry and that she has put too many ingredients into the dish. He is amazed that the food has no chicken in it and that the cook has put so many ingredients in such a short amount of time. He tells her to go to bed and then he wants to make her some more food. She tells him that he is getting on her nerves and that he should go to the other room and rest. He says that he has a fever and wants to give it to her. She asks him to get changed and he says that it looks half decent. She says that she never realized how much work she had to put into making the meals. She is shocked that the servant is so nice. He asks her to give him some food and she tells him to do so. She apologizes for not having put her name on the family register and says that this is her fault. She thanks him for giving her food and asks him if he has been on a tour at a college. He replies that he was and he thanks her for giving him the food. He goes on to say that he will go back to his place and that at least they got to talk about old times.
