The narrator tells us that he's going to try to get back into the good graces of nami and yuta-takizawa. He thinks that they'll be able to help him regain his memory. He also tells us about how the family has been living in a "trailer" for the past two years, and how the oldest daughter, Anzu, has determined where the heart is located. Anzu's father is the one who has the heart, and Anzu has to take care of him after the heart fragment falls into her mother's womb. The narrator says that he wants to help, but he doesn't know who to ask for help. He tells his mom that he has been stabbed in the chest by a soldier, and that he feels some contact with the soldier, but the soldier has gone away. He says that the captain was angry with him for setting the apartment on fire, and the narrator is sure that he was "screwed up big time." The narrator wants to be a "living comrade specimen" . He wants to know how long it will take for him to catch up with his "empty skull."
