The chapter opens with Hiroshi talking to himself about how he's so powerless against Hirose that he can't even rustle up the courage to fight him. Hiroshi says that his power is that of "nothingness" , which means that Hiroshi can erase everything in his path. He also says that he'll be able to do something against Hiroshi the next time Hiroshi finds them, because Hiroshi's power isn't as strong as Hiroshi thinks it is. The chapter ends with a soliloquy from Hiroshi, in which he says that the only thing he can do is to protect his sister and his brother-in-law . He tells Hiroshi to stop trying to kill him off, and to stop worrying about his power. He says that if Hiroshi doesn't come back, he will call Hiroshi a loser.
