In this chapter, we learn that Tomo is going out with another woman, and that it's not a good idea for him to be hanging out with a woman he doesn't know. He's going to go out to get her, but he's got to finish his work before he can hang out with her. He tells her that she can stay if she wants, but she can't sleep with him if he finishes his work. He says that he was surprised that it worked out so well, because he was worried that she'd get mad at him for making her do something he didn't want her to do. But she's just the one who gave up on Tomo, he says. He feels a mixture of excitement and joy at the idea that he finally has a woman to fall in love with. He asks her if she still has feelings for Tomo. She says that she does, but that she hasn't yet had the chance to talk to him about it. She's glad to hear that he still has affections for her, though, because it means that she has to get over Tomo quickly.
