It's been a while since we've heard from the narrator, but he's feeling a little down. He's not sure what's going on. He feels like he should have known better. He doesn't know how to talk to her, he says, because she's so easily swayed by her husband's words and actions. He thinks he should just tell her that he likes her, and she'll be happy to hear it. He tells her about a meeting he had with kun, and how they talked about sex all the time. He says he didn't think hotels would be so hard to get to, and he thinks that's because they're supposed to be raunchy. He also thinks that stories about sex in hotels make it sound as though it's the best thing in the world, when in reality, it just means that you're having sex with someone you love.
