About This Chapter
It's been a while since we've seen the Governess, and she's still not sure how far away she is from home. She's not sure when she first realized that she was in the middle of nowhere, but she thinks it's probably "world soccer" . The Governess tells her little boy that he's going to have to go live with his mom for the rest of his life. She tells him to hurry up, eat breakfast, and be a good kid. He won't even reply when she says "good morning" , so she tells the other boys and girls that she'll be taking care of him. She says that she knows she should have separated her son from his friends sooner, but that she had to do what was best for his sake. She doesn't know how to explain it to the other kids, but it sounds like she'd done everything she could to keep him from them. She admits that she knew it was time for her son to be separated from them sooner. But she says that's just the way things are, and that she can't really blame her for being so hard on her son. She thinks maybe she should just "move in" and make him happy. She wonders why she didn't just pick up on the fact that he wasn't working as hard as she thought he would be. She also wonders why the other girls seemed to be more interested in him than she was, and wonders if she should go after her friend. She wants to know why she hasn't picked him up. She asks if she can rent out her spare rooms to him, and he says he'll pay her a little bit of money. He also says that he wants to read her latest book, which is a little over a hundred thousand yen a month. He asks if he can read it on his own, and if she wants to, she says she can. He tells her that she should read the book on her own, because it costs a little more than a thousand yen. He says that if she wanted to, he'd tell her to "get row" out of the house. He wants her to
