It's morning, and we're introduced to a new character: Akari. She's just returned from a trip to Japan, where she met Hiroyuki, and she's eager to see him. She asks him if he'd like to go for a walk with her. Hiroyuki says yes, and they're off to the park. Akari asks if she'll be able to make some miso soup for him, and he says yes. He's not sure if they've ever gone out together before, but he's sure they can do it. He tells her to come up with a good excuse to go out with him, because he doesn't want to wait any longer. He also tells her that he wants to marry her, and that she should think about it. They're back at the park, and Hiroyuki is psyched to see them.
