He explains that the "onmyoji" of his clan can use the curse to drive out the target of the curse, and that even if they manage to recall his consciousness, they won't be able to do anything about it because the curse will still be in effect. He tells Mr. Shinozaki that he'll have to go investigate, because the old man is too noisy.
