About This Chapter
Meanwhile, back at the house, hiraoka and Toyama discuss whether or not the bonfire party should be stopped. Reluctantly, they decide to go ahead with it, even though they're worried that it's going to turn into something more serious than just a bonfire party. They're interrupted by Tanaka, who tells them that he's feeling a little tired and wants to take a break from the party. He asks about his father, who's still recovering from his spell, and what happened to the Takeno group after the murder. Most of the people at the party didn't believe in the theory that the two groups killed each other in an internal conflict, so the police dropped their investigation. Tanaka asks if he can talk to him about something, and he tells him that Uncle Hirokazuku is coming back to the house soon, and that he can go along with him.
