In this short scene, the students discuss the disappearance of izumiko. One of the students, the senior, tells the others that he has seen a "demonic aura" coming from the girl. The senior tells the other students that he must have read too much fantasy to have realized that the girl couldn't really be momoko. The other students agree that the senior must have been reading too much, but the senior tells them not to dismiss him so easily, as he will have them know even though they don't believe him. He tells them that he will be leaving the next day. He asks the senior if there is anything he can do to help find the girl's "soul." He tells the senior that he needs the help of the other two students to find the soul of a girl who has been missing for five days. The two students agree to help him.
