This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which Tetamonomae explains that she has come to release izumiko from her body. She asks for some of her power to do so, and she is told that she can do so only by giving her some of the soul that is in the body of Izumiko. She is then told that if she tries to deceive her, she will be severely punished. This is followed by a description of the light in the room, which is the same light that was used in the previous scene. T
