The next morning, Tanaka wakes up to find that she has cooked a hundred times more delicious food than the brat she served the previous day. She's even more excited when she realizes that she's going to be responsible for cooking the whole house. She wants to thank her father for all his help, but she can't seem to find a way to thank him. She asks her mother-in-law if she'll be at the family dinner tomorrow, and she wonders why she wasn't invited to the last time. She also wonders why Tsurusaki was called back two days earlier, when she was supposed to be at home, and why she hasn't come home yet.
