This chapter opens with a conversation between lama and his sister. lama tells her that she feels guilty for fighting with her brother, but that she doesn't think that it will be too much of a blow-up. She tells lama that she always fights with her sister whenever it gets really bad, and that her mother would always bring her and her sister to the "drag drag" where they would look at all kinds of fish and fight by the end of the day. She says that she and lama used to go shopping together before grocery shopping, and she says that lama asks mean things about her. She wonders if lama is nervous.
