This chapter is set in a bakery in a small town in the south of France. It's the first time we've heard of the bakery, which is owned and operated by a man named Yuto. Yuto is a kind, generous man, and we learn that Yuto's family has owned the bakery since the time of his birth. When Yuto first came to the bakery as a child, he gave Yuto a free dessert, and Yuto says that he's never been able to forget how much he loves her. He's always wanted to be with her, and he wants to see her happy again. He wants to be a part of her life, but he can't seem to find the right words to express his love for her.
