The next morning, Yuto tells his friends that he's decided to give up on trying to win Marmee's hand in marriage. He admits that he was wrong to ask Marmee out on such a date, but that he regrets asking her out that night. He's also sorry that he didn't tell Marmee about his feelings for her when he was in love with her. He hopes that she'll be able to forgive him and move on with her life.
