In this short scene, we are introduced to a young woman who has just returned from a sexual encounter with a man she knows to be her lover. We are told that the man, whom she does not name, is none other than "Satou." The young woman, however, is not in love with the man; rather, she is disgusted by the man's behavior. She is so disgusted that she cannot bear to leave him, and so she begs him to kiss her, but he does not listen to her pleas. He kisses her, and the young woman's body shudders, and she cries out, "shrimp shudder" . We learn that this is not the first time that she has been kissed by a man, but this is the first sexual encounter she has had with such a man.
