"Much icum" is the title of the first chapter of the second volume of the book, which begins on the 28th of June, the day of the one-year anniversary of the novel's publication. This is a reference to the fact that the novel was published on the same day as the birthday of the protagonist, Shmoop, who is now twenty-one years old. The protagonist asks the reader to remember his birthday as a "bonus comic" for reading the book thus far. He also asks the readers if they would like to see him and rika on a trip together.
