About This Chapter
The manager of the mystic auction house tells the young nobleman that all the items in the store are "junk" . The young man recognizes a string of bodhi beads as belonging to the western states. The manager asks the young man if he is trying to fool him with the "star-patterned meteoric iron furnace" , which is a newer type of iron than the "vanus-crystal iron furnace." The young gentleman says that he is quite knowledgeable about iron furnaces, and that he cannot afford to offend the nobleman. He invites him to the "equality pavilion" to discuss the "deal in detail." The nobleman asks the manager how much the iron is worth, and the manager says he will pay whatever price the man wants. The man says he has an incomplete body, and he wants to know if the medical masters in the state can help him. He says that the only doctor who knows about this is the imperial doctor, but if the doctor knows about it, he will die for sure. He asks if the elder of the elite sect is one of the "insiders." The manager says the elder is ready to knock on the door.
