About This Chapter
The zheng tells the young men that he wants them to serve him some good wine and meat. He asks if they can drink alcohol at their age. The young men reply that they can, and the zheng asks if he can bring each of them a bowl of water instead. He tells the men that the young man fought fiercely near his tavern the day before, and he wants to know why they didn't listen to him. He says that killing ordinary people is like killing a rat, and that killing an zheng looks fierce, so they shouldn't be offended. He then asks why he wasn't fooled because he revealed some weaknesses. He explains that he is a member of the ruse sect and that his master has nothing to teach him. Something happened to his sect, and so he left to make his living in daxi kingdom. The ruse sect is sealed by the justice department of the kingdom, so he can't make a living anywhere else. He wants to work with the young hero, who is a decent person. The two men agree to work together, even though they're ordinary people. They also agree to go to the young master's mansion, which is full of weapons for sale.
