About This Chapter
The oracle sect joins hands with the dowager and sets up a trap for the empress to kill the head of the Department of Justice of the Daxi kingdom. The oracle explains that the whole thing was a trap, and that he knew that the emperor would kill him if he didn't come. He tells the emperor that if he had not come, he would have lost his life in this world. He says that he thinks only the emperor knows him better than he does, and he even says that his best friend, the prime minister, used himself as a bait to send him to hell. He asks the emperor why he has to kill him, and the emperor replies that he has come to help him feel relieved. He explains that if a person changes their face, they become omniscient, and if the person is strong and tenacious, it is possible that they will find another body to replace the one they lost. He adds that he's worried that if the emperor keeps pursuing his goal, he will be weighed down by what he is hiding in his heart. He reminds the emperor to think of one person before he does anything, and asks the oracle not to be impulsive, because he feels sympathy for the emperor.
