This chapter opens with a soliloquy by the master of the mansion, Chen Pu. He tells the master that he is a cultivator, and that he will pay him twice the amount that he owes him for the silver that he delivered to him. The master tells him that the silver is not as valuable as the brotherhood, and he fears that no one will be able to get it from the mansion.
