In a month's time, we learn that Shu-Ting's cultivation has improved tremendously, and he's now at the top of the refining heap. He's even more impressive when he compares his cultivation power to that of a giant zheng boom, which is like a boom boom boom. Shu's not the only one who's impressed by his newfound power: liu-er, du-shou, and even little Qidao have all reached the top tier of refining. Shu says that they still have a good chance to beat the dream school, but that they'll have to wait until the competition is over before they can do so. Shu admits that he doesn't really like refining weapons, and that's why he made a tripod furnace out of a tiny piece of star-patterned meteoric iron when he was a kid.
