The zheng tells the young man that it's now time for him to come to the city. He's eight years old, and the zheng wants to know what's wrong with the house they just bought. The house agent tells him that the house is not for sale and won't give him any money back. The young man says that the agent is the same one who caused the death of someone in the past, and he blames the government for backing the agent's shady business practices. He says that he and the other young people have paid a lot of money to the agent, but the owner of the house doesn't want to sell it, so the agent has to charge them 30,000 taels to find a new house to rent to him. The old man is shocked, because he thought the agent was just trying to buy him a house, not a leg. The leader of the sceptic sect tells the old man that they can help him break one of the legs of the man who killed him, but they can't help him because they don't have any evidence.
