This chapter opens with a description of weapons and herbs, which are divided in five grades: emerald, red, white, gold, and purple. Each grade has a storage space, which is divided into three parts: the outer storage, the inner storage, and the absorption power. The outer storage is where the wearer can store excess power, while the inner is where he can transfer the excess power to his blood bead. The absorption power is only one-third of the total power of the weapon, so it is not as powerful as the outer weapons. The inner storage is the place where the elder's weapons are stored, but the elder can't use them because they don't belong to him.
