The taoist shows up at the government office and asks to be taken to the holy land of Jiangnan. The master of the taoists explains that he's going to need a bit of the master's blood before he can perform the exorcism. He's looking forward to going to Jiangnan, so he wants to make sure he stays healthy before they go there. The guard at the office tells the master that the recent murders are really strange, so the master wants to offer his assistance to the authorities in the matter. The guards are so annoying, the master says, that they should just knock them out and break into the office. But the master has another idea. He tells the guards that they just kidnapped a government official walking outside alone, and the guards think that's a brilliant idea, but it turns out that the guards just tied up the government official. They're not sure what to do, but the master tells them to go inside and he'll help them.
