About This Chapter
In this brief scene, the master explains that he is no longer the master of the petition, and that he will go back to report the matter to the master, who will then decide whether or not to allow the master to continue. He tells the master that he cannot go back until he has earned the "yin credits," which is the amount of money that the master owes him. The master then gives the master two options: he can either kneel before the master and wait for the petition to be completed, or he can kneel and wait until the petition has been completed. He gives the man two options, and the man chooses the first option. He then curses the master for casting such a powerful spell on him, and curses him for not telling him anything about the petition. He curses himself for not knowing that petitioners can control hell messengers, and wonders why the master didn't tell him anything. He wonders if the master is suffering in his own world.
