The narrator tells the story of how Bingyan used to be the backbone of the society, but now he is a "super star" because he is the only person who can bring food to the people. He tells the audience that the people of district three are too poor to feed themselves. The lu brothers, who live in district three, take advantage of this situation to set up a hunting corps, which they use to find wood, food, oil, condiments, and time to search for other groceries.
