It's the day of the 17th Icheon village sports festival, which means that there's going to be a lot of dancing, singing, and lots of fighting. Uh-oh. The dog, named Dongsik, and the girl, named Siphistopheles, are at the festival, so the girl has to go to the dog's house to catch him. The girl is super excited to see the dog, but she's also worried that he's not going to like her. She's a little worried that the dog won't like her, but the girl reassures her by saying that she'll learn to sign and teach the dog next time they meet. Oh, and she also tells the dog that she fainted the last time she caught him, and that it's her first time seeing the dog smile. She says that's because the dog likes her, and not because he likes the girl. She also says that she was going to send the dog to school in her place for the day, but now she needs to get to know the dog quickly, so she goes to the festival. She tells the girl that rumors were spreading the day she moved to the village, and so she came to prevent the girl from running away again. She adds that the girl's contract with the witch is really terrifying, and if the girl tries to run away, she will kill her. The little girl is shocked to find out that she has never signed the contract.
