In this short scene, the ghost of the "Mangtae Ahjussi" , also known as the "Boogeyman" in the U.S., appears to the young protagonist. The boy is startled by the creature's presence, and the ghost tells him that he is to be locked in the room for the first time since he is young. He tells the boy to go to school and to listen to his teachers. The principal of the school has ordered special monitoring of the teachers' rooms because of the strange behavior of the students. The young protagonist, who has always been scared of ghosts and monsters, is upset that the principal has locked him in his room for such a short period of time.
